2004 - Discusware geht, Vbulletin kommt

Da es über 1.000 Mitglieder im Forumsbereich gibt, muss nun eine neue Software installiert werden. Während der folgenden Monate wird das System installiert und die Daten sowohl der Postings, wie auch der User werden übernommen. (vorher Discusware 3.1 professional Version danach Discusware ).

Discusware gibt es heute als Forum gar nicht mehr. Das letzte uns bekannte Update war die Version 4.1 und kam März 2007 raus. Der letzte Support-Eintrag im Forum fand sich 2009.

Eine kluge Entscheidung vorher zu wechseln :-).

Die Besonderheit, dies war eine Umwandlung von einem textbasierten Forum zu einer SQL-Datenbank. Allein die Textdaten hatten knapp 1 GB an Daten belegt. Damit ist ein weiterer wichtige Stein für die Zukunft gelegt.
